Background

In 2005 I completed the training Outdoor Management in Groningen as specialisations Hike and climbing. After that I spent two years in the Belgian ardennes groups supervised during outdoor activities.
I am also active in various CIOS outdoor sports education as a visiting professor since 2005 during training weeks, mainly in France.
In 2008 I for "T & M Outdoor Travel" at work in Spain, where I the same year got my specialization rafting.
Since 2015 I am the owner of "Collegats Outdoor" I still have my summer in Spain spend and supervised activities with pleasure.
In recent years I am particularly active in the canyoneering. I have previously earned my French guide diplomas in 2011 and my Dutch instructor diploma in 2012.
In my spare time I also often found in the canyons where I lookup the most beautiful places in nature and challenging canyons do to push my own boundaries.

Background

Hi!
In 2009, I started learing about outdoor sports through my education.
This stimulated me so much that in 2011 I decided to switch from the Academy for Physical Education in Groningen to the Cios in Heerenveen. This course allowed me to fully focus on outdoor sports.
I started working in the French Pyrenees in 2011 and ended up spending five seasons there, up to and including the 2016 season, first as a guide and later also in the position of internship supervisor and trainer.

After 2016, I've worked less intensively as a professional guide for a number of years, but I have always continued canyoning as a hobbyist, at a high level. Together with my friends Alexander and Kees, I've explored canyons throughout Europe and developed myself further in the sport. I have also been involved in various courses related to canyoning.
During the summer I can mainly be found in the canyons, but my second great love is the river. So when I'm not in the canyons you will mainly find me on the back of the raft.

I am very proud to tell you that I have been co-owner of Collegats Outdoor since 2023, so I am also involved in the ins and outs of the company during the summers.

I hope to guide you on one of our fantastic adventures!

Background

I have been an outdoor guide for 7 years now, and I am still just as enthusiastic in guiding activities that people often do for the first time, such as rafting, canyoning and via ferrata.

I myself am from the far south of the Netherlands, so I have an exotic southern accent!
